 Communion.

When the adoration of the cross is completed, the deacon goes
to the place where the Blessed Sacrament has reposed since the previous day.
Meanwhile the choir sings the following
antiphons :

1. We adore Thee, O Christ, and praise Thee, because by Thy cross Thou hast redeemed the world.

2. By wood were we enslaved, and by Thy holy cross were we freed : the fruit of the tree beguiled
us, the Son of God has redeemed us.

3. Thou, O Savior of the World, Who hast saved and redeemed us by Thy cross and precious Blood,
succour us, we beseech Thee, O Lord.

The Priest then recites :

The Lord's Prayer.
