HOLY THURSDAY

All the ends of the earth shall remember, and shall be converted to the Lord. And all the kindreds
of the Gentiles shall adore in His sight.
For the kingdom is the Lord's; and He shall have dominion over the nations.
All the fat ones of the earth have eaten and have adored : all they that go down to the earth shall
fall before Him.
And to Him my soul shall live : and my seed shall serve Him.
There shall be declared to the Lord a generation to come : and the heavens shall shew forth his
justice to a people that shall be born, which the Lord hath made.

Antiphon. They divide my garments among them, they cast lots for my vesture.
Compline. Compline is said after the stripping of the altars.

Psalm 4.

When I called upon Him, the God of my justice heard me : when I was in distress, Thou hast enlarged
me.
Have mercy on me : and hear my prayer.
O ye sons of men, how long will you be dull of heart? Why do you love vanity, and seek after lying?
Know ye also that the Lord hath made his holy one wonderful : the Lord will hear me when I shall
cry unto Him.
Be ye angry, and sin not : the things you say in your hearts, be sorry for them upon your beds .
Offer up the sacrifice of justice, and trust in the Lord : many say, Who showeth us good things?
The light of Thy countenance, O Lord, is signed upon
us : Thou hast given gladness in my heart.
